SwishBet Betting Site & Offers

We are not currently recommending offers from SwishBet, here are some better offers:

Founded in 2018, SwishBet is one of the newer UK bookmakers to the market. However, its roots run deep in this market. With SwishBet being a product of ProgressPlay Limited, its sister services include VStarBet, BetSteve, SponsioBet, and InterBet. Thankfully, it has all the appropriate licenses including those from the Malta Gaming Authority and the United Kingdom Gaming Commission.

Like any bookmaker on the market, there are both pros and cons to choosing SwishBet…and we’re going to learn them all in this full review. We’ll assess the welcome bonus, banking options, markets, customer support, user experience, and lots more.

Welcome Bonus

Although not the most extravagant, the welcome bonus with SwishBet is at least simple. If you make a deposit of £10, you’ll receive a free bet of the same value. We should also note that the website accepts US dollars and Euros.

With the free bet that comes, you must place it on a selection with minimum odds of 1.5. Also, there’s a 10x wagering requirement. Interestingly, you can’t choose to place a bet with the welcome bonus before your own deposit. After depositing for the first time and receiving the welcome bonus, any bets placed will be taken from your own amount first. Then, once your balance is empty, you can stake using the free bet.

Once the free bet is in your account, you have seven days to use it. Otherwise, it will be removed. Unfortunately, those who deposit through Skrill won’t get the free bet (more on banking methods a little later!).

In truth, our experience registering for SwishBet was pretty much the same as signing up for any other site. We’ve been in this industry for some time now, and we’ve seen it all before. To start, click the Join Now button on the homepage and you’re shown a simple form. Here, you’ll enter your email, password, and mobile phone number. Of course, this is just the first step and the next step will include your address, name, and other personal details.

Before withdrawing, you might need to send documents to prove your identity and address. Don’t worry, this is completely normal. After regulation changes, all bookmakers and online casinos now have an extra responsibility to contribute to the responsible gambling effort. With stringent registration rules, it prevents those who have been self-excluded on other betting sites (or highlighted as gambling addicts) from getting accounts through other means.

Originally, SwishBet had a poor reputation for promotions. This being said, they have improved their offering in recent times. For example, those into basketball have a special offer available. If you place £25 on basketball events, you’ll receive a free bet worth £10. Just use the code SWISH when depositing and this should work with NBA as well as EuroLeague and FIBA betting.

Elsewhere, there’s currently a leaderboard available after depositing £10 with the code PACE and then placing £50 on any sporting event. Over time, those who wager the most money will find themselves at the top of the leaderboard. At the time of writing this, there’s a July Sports League, but this tends to reset every month.

On the promotions page, we also found similar promotions for motorsport, Serie A, and various other sports and competitions. We recommend keeping an eye on the Promotions page because it seems to be updated regularly.

Sports and Markets

First things first, we have to break some bad news because SwishBet doesn’t offer any horse racing or greyhound markets. If this is important for your betting experience, we recommend looking elsewhere. Otherwise, most of the other big sports are available.

Currently, football is probably the most populated sport. At the peak, we saw over 2,000 pre-match markets alongside around 200 in-play markets. By clicking on the Popular Competitions menu, you’ll find all the biggest leagues including Champions League, Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, and the Championship. In each fixture, there are dozens of markets depending on whether you prefer the handicaps, goals, corners, booking points, goal scorers, or something else entirely.

We know some players like to flick between sports, so you’ll be glad to know you’ll also have access to tennis, cricket, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and even eSports. While some bookmakers take eSports lightly, SwishBet do no such thing. During our time on the site, we found markets for Rocket League, Counter-Strike: GO, Dota 2, League of Legends, and many more.

With tennis, we found events from the WTA and ATP tour. Also, some games from the Futures and Challengers were available for betting. Though the markets aren’t quite as deep as football, there’s still enough to keep tennis fans interested. For mobile customers, it’s possible to bet on the first set winner and the overall winner.

On the other hand, mobile customers have much more of a selection with cricket. Whether you prefer ODIs, T20, or Test matches, SwishBet have you covered. There might be some domestic supporters reading, and you can bet on the English County Championship.

Not everything these days revolves around sport, and those who love unique markets will be happy to hear of the politics and entertainment markets. Are you interested in the Eurovision Song Contest? The US presidential election? Whatever your interests, SwishBet provide a nice break from the sporting world with these unique markets.

Banking Methods

These days, it’s normal for betting websites to offer plenty of banking methods for depositing and withdrawals, and SwishBet got the memo. Firstly, we have the most common methods including Maestro, Visa, and MasterCard. After this, the industry is changing and eWallets are gaining in popularity. SwishBet allow deposits through:

  • PayPal
  • Paysafecard
  • PayviaPhone
  • Interac
  • Trustly
  • EcoPayz
  • Zimpler
  • Neteller
  • Skrill
  • QIWI
  • Euteller
  • Fast BankTransfer
  • WebMoney

With this, SwishBet have one of the most extensive depositing systems we have ever seen in this niche. They attempt to accommodate every player, and this is something we appreciate. With many established names, they don’t offer an eWallet list as long as this. Although deposit limits vary depending on the method, most seem to be set at either £10 or £20.

In terms of withdrawals, the list isn’t quite so long. Yet, there are still plenty of options whether you prefer a credit card, debit card, or an eWallet. For all withdrawals, there’s a pending period of three business days and a processing period of one business day. After this, the quickest transfer times come from Skrill and Neteller with just one business day. Otherwise, you’ll wait for between three and ten business days.

Sadly, SwishBet seem to have introduced a processing fee (which has been very unpopular with players). This means that every withdrawal will cost £2.50.

Desktop and Mobile Experience

If you’ve played any of the betting sites that we mentioned earlier under the ProgressPlay Limited umbrella, you will recognise the layout of the website. With a dark theme, you have logos of all the most popular sports down the left-hand side. From here, the market you select sits in the middle while your betting slip is located on the right. In other words, it’s a classic betting site.

We like the website, and we love the left-hand panel. As soon as you click on a logo, the sidebar opens fully. From here, it’s possible to browse between sports and between pre-match and live markets. If you have a particular team or competition in mind, you can even use the search bar that pops up.

Another reason to love the layout of the website is that it’s actually customisable. Just like BetSteve, you can choose a design that suits your playing style. While some will want the Event View, others will be intrigued by the Live Overview, Dashboard, Live Calendar, and Live Multiview.

Unfortunately, there’s no mobile app available for either Android or iOS users. Ultimately, this wasn’t really a surprise for us because the whole site has a traditional feel to it. If you like to play on mobile, all is not lost because you can just load up the website on a web browser. We tried this, and we found all of the same markets available for all sports. Sometimes, mobile users feel as though they’re missing out on the fun, but this isn’t the case with SwishBet.

Betting Features

Live Streaming – We understand that some people like to watch sports on betting sites; we have bad news because this won’t be an option on SwishBet. In our experience, only the most established names have the resources to offer live streaming. With the option only growing in popularity, we might see SwishBet expand in this direction one day.

Cash Out – Talking of popularity, cash out is almost a necessity these days for bettors. Luckily, SwishBet have a good cash out system. You won’t find it with every single market, but the cash out button lights up when you have a betting slip that allows the feature.

In-Play Betting – We’ve already touched on live betting, and the offering from SwishBet is strong. Whether you like to bet on football, cricket, or rugby while watching, you’ll have the tools available. Depending on the sport you choose, you may also have detailed statistics available for live betting. With this, you make better betting decisions and you don’t need to click away to a third-party website to get your event stats.

Customer Support

Click on the Contact Us tab at the bottom of the website and you’ll see a short and sweet message explaining their customer support solutions. Firstly, the email address and online chat tools are monitored between 8am and 12am. If you have a question or need to speak to somebody from SwishBet, these are the best times to get in touch.

Secondly, we like that there’s an extensive FAQs page. Although the whole page seems to be catered towards casino players, you should still find important account questions and answers.

After this, it’s a little disappointing because they don’t offer a phone number. Also, those who like to play after midnight will need to wait until 8am to speak with somebody from the company, and this will cause problems for some.

Responsible Gambling

With SwishBet, those worried about gambling addiction have the resources they need to keep control of the betting experience. For example, account features include self-exclusion, time outs, betting limits (monthly, weekly, and daily), and a reality check. With the betting limits, you essentially choose the amount you’re willing to lose across any given day, week, or month. If you lose this amount, you won’t be able to bet any longer.

On the Responsible Gambling page, you’ll see links to important organisations including Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare, Gordon House Association, and Counselling Services. What we also like is the information available on underage gaming and internet filtering software.

While other sites shout about their security measures, it’s fair to say that SwishBet are more reluctant to share information. This being said, we know about their licenses with the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission. With this, we can assume they take security and safety seriously. Additionally, we know about their SSL encryption to keep financial information and personal details safe.

Some players like to have their bookmaker and online casino in the same place, and this brings SwishBet into contention. On the casino, you’ll find plenty of slots and other games. Furthermore, you also get access to the advanced VIP system. Starting with Bronze, players rise through Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. At the top level, you’ll enjoy online VIP room status, VIP customer support, birthday gifts, personalised gifts, an anniversary bonus, a VIP hotline, and a personal account manager.

There are some downsides to SwishBet, and this includes the lack of horse racing, no live streaming, no mobile app, and fairly standard welcome bonus. There are also lots of positives such as the extensive sports and eSports markets, responsible gambling measures, in-play betting, banking methods, and the sleek website design.
