The Betzone site is simple to use and I found that it was easy to navigate compared to other betting sites that I have reviewed. The usability is aided by the simple ‘A-Z betting’ tab that enables users to access a range of sports all listed in alphabetical order meaning all players need to do to find their desired sport is scroll and then click on that to access the separate tab. Along the top of the page are the most popular markets which obviously include football and horse racing as well as the virtuals and casino sections which are increasingly popular with players these days. I found that the horse racing section was very easy to use with ‘Next off’ races presenting players with live odds of the upcoming races throughout the day from the major venues across the globe. To switch to greyhound races then all players need to do is click on the icon next to the greyhound to give them the latest odds from the greyhound racing scene, much like the horse racing. Betzone is available to download on IOS and Android and can also be accessed from its website, allowing punters to make a bet from anywhere they wish.
One of the things we love about betting sites is the generous welcome offers that are available to use on arrival to a new betting site. Betzone is no different and offers new players the chance to get 50% of their losses back as free bets up to £60 with the welcome offer, when placing a 3 x £20+ bet using a debit card on the first day of betting. Bets must be at odds of evens (2.00) or above. Free bets are credited within 24 hours of settlement of the qualifying bets and expire after 48 hours so be quick!

Wimbledon offer (at time of writing) |
Unfortunately, there isn’t a dedicated ‘promotions’ page on the Betzone site but the various offers available to players are well advertised on the homepage. At the time of writing, users could get a 50% boost on their winnings if a selected horse finishes second to the favourite in the first race of July’s Newmarket meeting. However, once clicking on this promotion, the site takes you to the horse racing section without any further hint on how to qualify or use the offer so can be confusing for new members.
Another offer available is the opportunity for players to receive their money back as a free bet if their horse loses by a nose on any flat race. This is a great offer in my opinion and certainly helps ease the pain of losing by such a narrow margin.
It appears Betzone tend to make promotions available on upcoming sporting events. At the time of writing, a very generous Wimbledon Final offer was available in the form of getting an early payout if a selected player went two sets up. A minimum of £20 had to be placed though so was perhaps a little too costly for the reward on offer.
Elsewhere, there doesn’t appear to be many other offers and promotions meaning users may have to wait for significant sporting events to be able to gain access to a larger number of rewards.
Betzone provide coverage from an impressive range of venues in the UK as well as abroad, giving players a variety of options when it comes to betting on the races. This part of Betzone’s site is set up nicely and is easy for users to navigate – greatly helping the betting experience to be simple and effective.
When browsing around various betting sites, the odds are something that we as customers look for when deciding who to bet with. I’m pleased to inform you that Betzone offer competitive odds in line with the top sportsbooks around. This is especially true for the horses further down the field who have very impressive odds compared to some of the other leading racing bookmakers, making them standout amongst the rest in this department.
Betzone offers its players price boosts on races in the UK and Ireland. The Price Boost will be applied to show prices for the selected horse. However, one thing to note is that the Price Boost is only available for a max stake of £200 and applies to the player’s first bet on the selected horse. Any remaining stake over £200 or subsequent bets will be settled at the price at the time the bet was accepted. Simply click on any race and users will see certain selections tagged with the ‘price boost’ label.
On arrival to the horse racing section of the site, I noticed Betzone offers an interesting range of ‘Specials’ which allow players to bet on certain events to happen within the racing scene.
‘Specials’ also have the competitive odds mentioned earlier so if you’re feeling confident, there can be some serious prizes for betting on a ‘Specials’ event.
The answer to this question is unfortunately no. This may come as a disappointment to players as they won’t be able to benefit from a change in odds prior to a race happening. This is contrary to many other bookmakers who offer Best Odds Guaranteed as standard meaning customers don’t need to fear missing out on better odds closer to the event.
Betzone has a limited number of sports that are available to live stream from the site, but I am pleased to confirm that horse racing is one of the sports that players can login to watch live. In terms of horse racing, this gives users the chance to watch the horse they betted on compete and hopefully win providing a more authentic experience and allowing players to track the form of other horses to see how they perform. This is definitely a useful tool that I would recommend trying out.
Another interesting and unique feature on the Betzone site is the ability for players to track the price changes of various horses throughout the time prior to a race. This can help you to identify trends and help decide when the right time is to place a bet as the odds may be more favourable as time passes.
Betzone, like many bookmakers, offer virtual horse racing markets which will please many players. Just like the real thing, players are able to watch the virtual horse they bet on compete against other virtual horses who have odds assigned to them prior to the race. It can be argued that all the virtual markets are better suited for those with busy schedules as the races take place throughout the day whereas real life events have set times which may prevent people from betting as they don’t have the time or are unable to do so. In my opinion this is another positive feature of the Betzone site with virtual markets catering for all customers.
Overall, Betzone’s horse racing section is easy to use and rewarding for players who have access to competitive odds, specials and virtual races as well as other features. Although there is no Best Odds Guaranteed which may disappoint various players, Betzone offers its players live streaming and price history graphs which enables players to monitor various horses and help players make informed decisions as to when to place a bet. This partly negates the issue of no Best Odds Guaranteed. I recommend trying Betzone out if you are a horse racing fan as it could be the betting site which most fulfils your expectations in terms of a betting site.
It must be said that Betzone has an impressive range of FAQs listed as part of its help and support tab. They cover a vast range of subjects and are also answered in great detail, really explaining to the player how they can resolve any issues or use the site. One criticism of the FAQs section is that they’re answered without images, unlike some betting sites, which can help visualise problems to anyone who needs assistance.
However, the rest of the customer support leaves a lot to be desired. There is no live chat or phone number provided at Betzone, but players can access the ‘Contact Us’ section and you will see that there are various social media pages linked. This may not appeal to everyone, but they do appear to be monitored 24/7 and are becoming a popular form of contact for UK betting sites. Betzone customer support also guide you to a forum if you need to seek further advice as well as an email support service for a more traditional method of customer support.
Betzone payment options:
Regrettably, Betzone offers a limited range of payment options, which may prove disappointing to many users of the betting site. Currently, the accepted methods include Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro debit cards, alongside bank transfers and cheques. However, it is worth noting that Betzone does not support popular eWallets such as PayPal and Neteller, which have gained popularity as payment methods on various other betting platforms. Additionally, Betzone does not facilitate transactions involving cryptocurrencies, despite some other betting sites embracing this alternative. The absence of these modern payment options may be viewed as a drawback for potential users seeking greater flexibility and convenience.

The minimum deposit amount is £10 and the same can be said about withdrawals too which is standard amongst most UK bookmakers. When withdrawing any winnings from your Betzone account, it can take between two to five working days for the funds to arrive in your bank account if you’re using a debit card. Bank transfer withdrawals can take a while longer – potentially up to ten days.

Betzone is certainly an impressive betting site in certain aspects and it can become an option for players as their go to bookmaker. The sportsbook is large enough to satisfy the needs to many players with the horse racing section being quite appealing to punters with its various features such as price history graphs and live streaming.
However, it must be said that the lack of available payment options and absence of a live chat feature do let the betting site down. This may prevent players from signing up to Betzone as their preferred method of payment isn’t available on the site, with users of debit card and bank transfer the only satisfied users as using cheques to deposit can be considered impractical by some users. The lack of a live chat feature, which is widely regarded as the easiest and most modern form of communication with a betting site’s customer support, may deter new players from signing up to the site.
There are some interesting promotions on Betzone, especially during large sporting events, but in my opinion there could be more as this would help to improve the user experience and allow players to have a chance to earn greater rewards, much like the current leading betting sites do so well.
All in all, Betzone is a solid betting site that has huge potential in the industry. With just a few tweaks, it could become one of the most desirable sites to use and enjoy for customers and I would urge players to at least try it out as they could be the bookmaker for you.
