The Ladbrokes grid card is a type of loyalty card that rewards their users for continuously betting with their brand. You may have seen similar loyalty cards with shopping retailers and food establishments already, so now Ladbrokes is trying to join in on the fun by rewarding their own customers too. It’s a great way to encourage their loyal fanbase to remain loyal by continuing to use their site, and since they’re likely to already do so, it’s no brainer that their loyalty cards are a big hit.
Every time a member places a wager online, on a mobile device, or in-store, they can earn points and incentives with the use of the Ladbrokes Grid Card, which is totally free.
Your Grid Card will be connected to your Ladbrokes online account once you’ve completed the application and received it. You can then take it into any Ladbrokes physical store and swipe it every time you place a wager to collect rewards. You can even use it to pick up your prizes in-person. If you are regularly on the move, you can also just use a virtual grid card attached to your account instead.
Ladbroke’s Current Welcome Offer
New users who register an account with Ladbrokes for the first time can take advantage of their current offer!
When you deposit a minimum of £5 and bet it on the sportsbook within 14days of opening your account, you will then be eligible for £20 in free bets to use! These free bets are credited to your account after your first bet has settled and then you will have 7 days to spend the new rewarded free bets.
As with any loyalty programme, the main benefit is to reward the user for continuous use of a brand of product. This grid card by Ladbrokes is no different. Let’s take a look at what other benefits they provide and see what rewards their users can take advantage of.
If you are an avid punter who likes to make bets both in store and online, then this perk could be extremely useful. Previously there was no way to keep all of your bets in one place but since the arrival of the grid card, bettors can see all placed bets inside the app together. This means you’ll be able to search and find specific bets quickly. You’ll need to enter the receipt of your in-person bet into your tracker to do this.
Everyone likes to get things for free, and since you earn loyalty points for doing the same betting as before, you’re essentially getting points to do what you were going to do anyway. This gives users a sense of accomplishment as you see your points build up over time and you will eventually be able to spend your points on lucrative rewards.
If you’re one of the lucky ones who manage to accurately predict the outcomes of sporting events then you’ll likely be expecting winnings to head your way. In this instance you can use your grid card within the app to cash out those winnings directly from your online account.
Everyone loves free stuff and with your own Ladbrokes grid card you’ll often be eligible for free bets and the brand’s promotions that offer you some money back on your wagers. These offers regularly change throughout the year and vary in duration so keep your eyes peeled to avoid missing out.
The great news is that you have two options when it comes to applying for and receiving your very own Ladbrokes grid card. If you class yourself as relatively tech savvy then you can apply for a grid card through their mobile app (which we will walk you through below). If you’re more of a technophobe then you have the option to apply for and collect a card in person in one of the Ladbrokes physical stores you can find on the local high street.
Step #1: Register an account or log in
To apply for a grid card you will first need to have an account with Ladbrokes. If you don’t have one already you can easily sign up by visiting the Ladbrokes homepage and clicking the green “join” button in the top right hand side of the screen. This will open a short, multi-page registration form to fill out.
Make sure you input your legally accurate details as these may be used to verify you in future before withdrawing money.
Make sure you take advantage of the Ladbrokes welcome promotion that allows you to get free bets from a small wager and deposit!

Step #2: Find the grid section of the site
Navigating to the grid section of the website
Once logged in (whether as an existing user or after your registration is completed) you’ll be taken back to the homepage. From here you need to find “the grid” button at the top of the page on the red heading bar. Click this to open the page relating to the Ladbrokes grid card.
Step #3: Generate your own Ladbrokes grid card
If you plan on using your card online, you will first need to generate a virtual card. You can do so by clicking the green “Activate card” in the middle of the page. This is the start of the process to get your own grid card!

This image above is the screen you will be met with when you start the process. Once you have clicked the “generate button” this will theoretically create a virtual card for you.
Step #4: Choose a pin number for your pin
The next step is to choose a memorable pin number for your Ladbrokes grid card. Make sure you don’t tell it to anyone and don’t forget it! You will need it for later.

Your virtual Ladbrokes Grid Card
Once that has been done, your card will be finalised! This card will be virtually attached to your account so that any bets you make will be found and kept in the grid card itself. The same goes for in person bets too. As long as you have the Ladbrokes app you can access your virtual grid card on the go! If you would prefer to get a real physical card instead you can do so in store or through the Ladbrokes site and they can send you one in the post.
As with most loyalty cards that require spending, you will accrue points for each wager you make. You receive more points by placing large bets. Not only does the value of the spend matter, but also points vary depending on how you spend them. For example, placing money down on a sports bet vs putting money on a casino game will each get you a different value of points. Here are the ways to acquire points:
Company examples | Promotion type |
Food places | A percentage off your total bill |
Retail purchases | 2 for 1 or discounted prices |
Subscription services | Discounted service charge or 1st month free |
If you are joining a loyalty scheme you’re probably wanting to know what rewards will be available to you, otherwise why are you joining if not for the rewards?
To give you an example of rewards available here is a list of some offers Ladbrokes have offered previously. This list is always changing as some offers expire and new ones take their place:
So you can make sure not to miss any offers coming your way, make sure to opt in to the Ladbrokes marketing emails. That way, if there is a fun offer that you take a liking to, you won’t be disappointed and miss it!
In the age of loyalty and rewards, this is a top notch card that fans of Ladbrokes should certainly consider getting. It is a fantastic way to continue your standard betting habits while earning some rewards along the way. Not only do you have the opportunity to win some profits from your (hopefully) successful bets but you might get some discounts and freebies due to your loyalty points too! This is the future of betting and it’s high time we all take advantage.
