For many years, Sweden had a complicated relationship with betting and gaming. While these activities were legal in the country, a single domestic company was licenced to provide any betting, gaming, or gambling services. This presented issues, as the company was unable to provide the variety of content, games, betting markets, and activities that customers could enjoy in other countries where numerous betting sites were available. Black market gambling was also a big issue, as bettors who could not find what they needed turned to dangerous, unregulated betting providers. Recently, however, Sweden has opened their betting market and is now welcoming licence applications from any betting provider out there with plans in advance of major changes to gambling and betting regulations which are bound to take place imminently. These changes will allow multiple different betting sites, bookmakers, and betting content providers to be legally active in the country.

One of the companies who has just managed to secure a licence under the new rules is betting content provider Stakelogic. The company applied, and, having complied with the relevant Swedish legislature, has been granted a licence by the Swedish betting and gaming regulator Spelinspektionen. As Stakelogic is a B2B content provider, being one of the first companies to secure a licence in Sweden places it in a very advantageous position, as it will be now permitted to provide its content and products to other betting sites who manage to secure a licence in the Nordic country and require new gaming content in order to expand their existing portfolio.

While Stakelogic is predominantly known for its classic slots and video slots content, Sweden has also licenced its Stakelogic Live subsidiary. This service provides betting sites with live slots and betting content. The Swedish Gaming Authority has not yet distributed very many live betting licences and Stakelogic will likely benefit a great deal from being one of the very first companies in the country to provide this type of service.

Stakelogic is a Dutch betting provider founded in 2014. In its 9 years of operation, the company has grown and developed into a trusted and reliable entity on the European betting market. It currently providers classic and video slots and live betting services, and is known for titles such as Multi6Player, Multi4Player, and Big Runner Delux. Today, the company works with over 500 betting sites and bookmakers and offers over 250 slots products to bettors. It is active in over 20 betting jurisdictions, and the Swedish licence is one of over 10 it has secured so far. Stakelogic employs over 550 people who work in 7 offices, including the Netherlands and Ukraine. The company also works with Pariplay who consolidates betting content from multiple betting providers and then makes it accessible to popular UK betting sites such as BoyleSports and William Hill.

Discussing the new licence in Sweden, Stakelogic CEO Stephan van den Oetelaar stated:

“Sweden is an important market for us, and we are thrilled to be among the first to secure a supplier licence for both Stakelogic and Stakelogic Live. Our games have really hit the mark with players in Sweden, and securing approval from the regulator means that we can continue to offer our slots and live content to operators and their players once the expected regulatory change comes into force.”

Stakelogic also provides live betting services. The company has over 10 dedicated tables and over 10 network tables, and its games are translated into 5 languages. 3 game shows run every day from over 10 different live studios. Stakelogic is proud to be providing state-of-the-art, innovative casino games and state that it is all about innovating and revolutionising the online gaming industry. With games such as Spin-to-Win, live Roulette, and live Blackjack, the company provides live betting and gaming content to betting sites such as LeoVegas, BetVictor, Unibet, and many others.

Stakelogic also works with betting software company SkillOnNet, and the two companies recently expanded their partnership. As a result, Stakelogic will be able to offer its new and existing live casino games to more bettors worldwide. It is understood that before showcasing its new content in Sweden, Stakelogic will first launch it its core betting and gaming jurisdictions such as the UK and Mexico. Speaking about the partnership with SkillOnNet, Stakelogic Commercial Director Jose Simon said: “We’re delighted that our live casino games will gain further reach through this deal, and we’re happy to be taking our relationship with a major player like SkillOnNet to the next stage.”
