Leading iGaming software provider Altenar has today (19 December 2022) announced a new partnership with sports betting website Chilly Bets, which will allow it to enter the German betting market for the first time. Altenar, a B2B provider of sportsbook and iGaming solutions, offers different packages to its customers – from software-only products to bespoke and fully managed sports betting platform stock. The new contract, which will allow Altenar to reach a large base of bettors in Germany, has been described by the company as “a landmark deal”

Altenar was founded in Malta in 2011 with the aim to provide unique, bespoke, cutting-edge software to betting providers and platforms worldwide. The company prides itself on never backing off a challenge, and invites customers to make non-standard requests that would require the company to expand and develop on its products by adapting them to the needs of the customers. Altenar states that its aim is not just achieving high levels of profit, but also to build a level of trust within the gambling industry and make its reputation as “the most partner-oriented iGaming software provider”.

Altenar’s services are already known in the UK. In 2021, the company signed a deal with Lottoland which resulted in Altenar providing the betting giant with a fully managed UK sports betting platform. Further to this, Altenar provides its software to L&L Europe Ltd, a player-reviewed group of casinos running a number of brands in the UK – All British Casino, Casino Casino, Fun Casino, Hyper Casino, No Bonus Casino, Yeti Casino, Race Casino, and Yako Casino. The L&L Europe Casinos have the reputation of providing an engaging selection of entertaining games using a unique cashback system.

Speaking about the deal, Altenar Sales Manager Diego Salas said:

“We are delighted to be able to partner with our first ever licensed sportsbook operator in Germany, and ChillyBets, with its wealth of experience within this industry, is the best start we could have hoped for. There is no doubt this partnership will be a huge achievement and we are very excited to be able to tap into the German market for the first time following recent successes across the region.”

The services provided by Altenar include a fully managed sports betting platform which includes a comprehensive bonus system which includes all the usual bonus types – free bets, welcome deposits, retention offers, and coded bonuses. The system also comes with a highly customisable cash out system allowing the betting site to make the cash out rules. In addition to this, Altenar customers can take advantage of features such as multi-brand management and premium data feeds, statistics, and visualisation which provides accurate and trusted information in real time with minimal latency. Using this, the platform can offer instant pay-outs and prevent late bet abuse.

Altenar also offers a service where companies can start their sports betting business from scratch. From payments & licensing relevant to the jurisdiction of the business to a fully managed sports betting platform with a wide portfolio of games, Altenar providers a service which allows new betting companies to gradually reach a point where they could apply for their own gambling licence and payment methods, which happens without the need to change any of the platform’s software or to transfer data from one system to another. Altenar works with iGaming providers such as Microgaming, NetEnt, NextGen, and Evolution in order to provide the best online games to its customers.

Commenting about the deal with Altenar, Chilly Bets CEO Tal Zamstein said:

“We are happy to start a new era for our business in the regulated territory of Germany together with Altenar. We are sure that Altenar is the right partner in terms of the offer and the support to our efforts in this complicated regulatory environment.”

Chilly Bets was founded in 2018 and is part of the Chilling Cheetah group. In 2021, the sports betting provider became an officially licenced German sportsbook operator. The partnership between Altenar and Chilly Bet comes after a series of deals in the last year which saw Altenar become one of the leading sports betting and iGaming software providers in Belgium. Its industry know-how has been recognised through a number of awards, including EGR Italy, SBC Latin America, EGR Nordics, MiGEAs, and the Baltic and Scandinavian Gaming Awards.

It is undoubted that Altenar’s experience and knowledge in the iGaming and sports betting industry will be a huge help to Chilly Bets as they continue to establish themselves on the German sports betting market. Meanwhile, the deal is a big step for Altenar who continue to consolidate their reach of the European betting market, and further expansions will certainly follow in 2023.
