SIS Expands in Malta through IZIBET Deal

UK sports betting content and information service SIS (Sports Information Services) has consolidated its reach within the Malta sports betting market industry through a new partnership with leading Maltese online sports betting website IZIBET. Announced on 16^th December 2022, the agreement with IZIBET, part of IZI Group (Malta’s national lottery operator) means that SIS will supply the company with its renowned 24/7 Live Horse Racing Content service. This will not only allow IZIBET to provide its customers with live streaming of horse racing events, real time information feeds, and statistics, but will also allow SIS to reach even more bettors in Malta through its services.

Horse and greyhound racing events have historically been popular with sports betting fans in Malta, and after today’s agreement, bettors with access to the content provided by SIS will be able to see advanced information, statistics, and even live stream video content of the races, all to the advantage of their betting experience. The live content services will be provided to IZIBET customers round the clock, not only online, but also across its 200 retail sites. The agreement spreads across 30,000 horse racing events and 38,000 fixtures.

IZI Group serves over 1 million registered visitors every year. Priding itself on its excellence and integrity, the sports betting operator generates an annual turnover of €345,000,000 with an EBIDTA of €5,000,000. Its total assets amount to €64,300,000. Founded in 1993, the group introduced the first pari-mutuel wagering system in Malta before venturing into the business of AWP machines. The exact services provided under the agreement have been listed as live streamed pictures, on-screen graphics, commentary, data, and betting triggers across various prices and markets. This is another milestone for IZI Group after a very successful year of expansion, with the company having secured the licence for becoming the National Lottery of Malta operator earlier in 2022.

SIS has been very successful too, with the IZI Group partnership being the third announced in December.
