The most recent league meeting between the two sides was in February. Chelsea were victorious, winning 2-1, goals from Giroud and Alonso gave the Blues a 2 goal advantage. Tottenham scored in the 89th minute from a Rudiger own goal, but it was too little too late as Chelsea secured the win.

Hakim Ziyech is a key player for Chelsea. The right winger has made a significant impact since arriving from Ajax in the summer. Ziyech has 1 goal and 3 assists and an AMR of 7.65.
