Premier League Week 23

In this article we will preview 3 key fixtures of gameweek 23 in the Premier League. Some teams have had FA Cup games during midweek, which could impact the outcome of this weekend’s results.

Leicester City v Liverpool

Leicester City take on Liverpool at the King Power stadium on Saturday. The game is an early kick off and will commence at 12:30. The Foxes are in fantastic form going into the clash, losing just once since the turn of the year. The same can’t be said for Liverpool though as they go into the tie, subsequent back to back defeats.

The last meeting between the two sides was a 3-0 Liverpool win, back in November. Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino were the goalscorers and Jonny Evans scored an own goal.

Mohamed Salah has been outstanding for the Reds this season. The Eqyptian Winger has netted 16 times in 22 games and will be a player to watch for Liverpool.

As for Leicester, veteran striker, Jamie Vardy, is someone to look out for. Vardy has scored 11 times in 19 matches this season.

Heung-Min-Son is a player to watch for Spurs. The South Korean left winger has scored 13 goals in the Premier league this season and has 6 assists.

Tottenham may want to watch out for Phil Foden if the youngster is selected. The versatile attacker was playing upfront in City’s recent game against Liverpool and was outstanding, scoring 1 and assisting 1.
