Premier League Week 6 Preview

The Premier returns for another round of fixtures, this weekend we have games spanning from Friday to Monday, in this article we will preview a few of the key games coming up.

Aston Villa v Leeds

Leeds travel to Villa park on Friday night, to take on Aston Villa in a 20:00 kick off. Both sides have had absurd starts to the season. The Whites have accumulated a respectable 7 points, whereas the Villans have a flawless record, currently sitting second in the league.

Last time out Leeds suffered their second defeat of the season, a 1-0 defeat at home to Wolves despite having the majority of the ball, and peppering the Wolves goal with 15 shots.

Aston Villa enjoyed a last minute winner from new signing Ross Barkley, to overpower Leicester City in a 1-0 victory.

A player to watch for Aston Villa would certainly have to be Jack Grealish. The left winger has had a preposterous start to the season, with 3 goals and 3 assists, Grealish was pivotal in Villas stunning 7-2 win over defending champions Liverpool, scoring 2 and assisting 3.

In terms of injuries Keinan Davis, Tom Heaton and Wesley Moraes will be unavailable for Aston Villa. For Leeds Diego LLorente, Gaetano Beradi and Kalvin Phillips are all injured.

Manchester United v Chelsea

Manchester United host Chelsea in a 17:30 kick off on Saturday evening.

Both teams will be disappointed with their starts to the season. The Red Devils have recorded 2 wins and 2 defeats, whereas Chelsea have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 1.

United have no long term injuries, but have Edinson Cavani, Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire, Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood who are all doubts.

Chelsea have just one injury, Billy Gilmour will be out until mid November.

Arsenal v Leicester City

Leicester City travel to North London to take on Arsenal in a 19:15 kick off on Sunday night. Both sides have had identical starts to the season, both winning 3 and losing 2.

Last match, Arsenal endured a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City Leicester suffered a late defeat to Aston Villa

A player to watch for Arsenal has to be Alexandre Lacazette, the Frenchman is Arsenal top scorer so far this season, netting three times.

Leicester City’s finest Jamie Vardy has been in fine form this season, scoring 5 goals in 4 games. Vardy also has the highest AMR in the Leicester squad with 7.87. However Vardy is a doubt for the fixture, picking up a calf injury last time out.
