Tottenham v Manchester City

On Saturday evening, Tottenham host Manchester City in a 17:30 kick off.

Tottenham are in fantastic form at the moment, currently sitting 2nd in the Premier League, Spurs haven’t lost a game since the opening day of the season, and are the top scorers in the league with 19 goals.

Manchester City are also in good form, after a rough start to the season, City are unbeaten in their last 9 matches in all competitions.

The last meeting between the two sides was back in February, where Tottenham won 2-0, with two second half goals. Ilkay Gundogan missed a spot kick in the first half of the clash, which proved to be costly as Tottenham opened the scoring in the 63rd minute with a debut goal from Steve Bergwijn. Then just 8 minutes later, Heung-Min Son doubled their lead, which saw the home side claim all 3 points.

Harry Kane has been phenomenal so far this season for Tottenham, the Englishman has 7 goals and 8 assists and has the highest AMR in the Spurs squad with a 8.23.

Kevin De Buyne will be a player to watch for City, the Belgian has always been influential in City’s style of play ever since arriving in August 2015.

Tottenham have 5 injuries going into the fixture. Erik Lamela, Japhet Tanganga, Matt Doherty, Steven Bergwijn and Tanguy NDombele are all injured.

City are in a similar position, with Ben Mendy, Fernandinho, Nathan Ake, Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero all unavailable for selection.

Leeds v Arsenal

Arsenal travel to Elland Road to take on Leeds on Sunday evening in a 16:30 kick off.

Subsequent of a strong start to the season, Leeds have gone off the boil in the last few weeks, losing 3 of their last 4. The Whites are currently 15th in table, 7 clear of the relegation zone.

Arsenal fans will be disappointed with their start to the season. The Gunners are currently 11th in the table with 4 wins and 4 draws. Last time out Arsenal suffered a 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa.

The previous meeting between Leeds and Arsenal was in the FA Cup at the Emirates back in January. The game ended 1-0 to Arsenal, Reiss Nelson scored the only goal of the game in the 55th minute, despite being the championship team then, Leeds thoroughly dominated the clash.

Gabriel has proved to be a successful signing since joining Arsenal in the summer transfer window. The Brazilian has the highest AMR in the Arsenal squad with a 6.99. A particular highlight for Gabriel so far would have to be the man of the match performance, in Arsenal’s 1-0 win against rivals Manchester United.

Patrick Bamford has his doubters at Leeds United, but he has been in fine form this season. He has 7 goals and 1 assist in 8 games. One of his best performances in a Leeds shirt is arguably, his hat trick against Aston Villa.

Liverpool v Leicester

Liverpool take on Leicester at Anfield on Sunday night in a 19:15 kick off.

Ever since the humiliating 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa, Liverpool have been in fantastic form. The Reds are currently 3rd in the league, just 1 point off the top.

Leicester are the team to beat at the moment, the Foxes are sitting top of the tree in the Premier League, City have conceded the joint least in the division this season and are 2nd in terms of goals scored.

The last meeting between the two sides was on boxing day 2019, Liverpool enjoyed an emphatic 4-0 win. Roberto Firmino opened the scoring in the first half, before a James Milner penalty made it two in the 71st minute. A few minutes after Firmino claimed his second of the match and Trent Alexander Arnold made it 4 as Liverpool eased to victory.

Jamie Vardy is a player to watch for Leicester City, despite being 33 years of age, Vardy is still a serial scorer for the foxes, with 8 goals in 7 games so far this season.

Sadio Mane is a key player for the Reds, the Senegalese winger has scored 4 and assisted 1 so far this season and has an AMR of 8.00.

Injuries

You could say Liverpool are going through an injury crisis at the moment, with 10 injuries. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Andy Robertson, Fabino, Joe Gomez, Jordan Henderson, Mohamed Salah, Rhys Williams. Thiago Alcantara, Trent Alexander Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk are all out.
